Pope Benedict XVI's Quote on Stewardship
The promotion of the practice of stewardship is important for the mission of the Church and for the spiritual well-being of each individual Christian. Everyone benefits from the sacrificial gift one makes of his time, talent and treasure. Therefore, please accept my encouragement for your efforts and my prayers that your upcoming conference will be a stimulus to the practice of stewardship in the Church.
— His Holiness Pope Benedict
Matching Financial Gifts Many companies encourage charitable giving by “matching” employee contributions. If your employer is such a company, they will make a gift equaling or doubling the size of your contribution. Your company’s human resources department should have specific details as to how it works. Most often, you are asked to complete a form and send it with your contribution.
If your company matches, request a matching gift form and send it completed and signed with your gift to Notre Dame. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to Notre Dame may be doubled or possibly tripled! Some companies also match gifts made by retirees and/or spouses.
Will & Estate Planning A charitable gift to Notre Dame may provide valuable benefits to you and your family. Planned Giving allows you to maximize the personal benefits of your charitable donation while providing you the opportunity to make a significant impact at Notre Dame.
